Americans are catching on to the North American Union scheme and voicing their opposition. The right wing grassroots organization, American Policy Center (APC), has just concluded a survey of one million American households. The survey, titled "Do Americans Support a North American Union", [...] questions were:


1. Have you heard of the Security and Prosperity Partnership? 58 % of those responding said they did Not know about the SPP.

2. Do you think private corporations should have the power to enforce trade policy that may adversely affect our national sovereignty and independence? This question related directly to the establishment of public/private partnerships between private corporations and government, granting no-compete clauses and comprehensive development agreements which provide guarantees by government to the corporations as investment returns. The TTC is not a free enterprise, but is government sanctioned monopolies. As this question was explained by the APC, 95% of respondents Opposed such policy.

3. Chapter 11 of the NAFTA agreement states that disputes over NAFTA-related issues will be heard in NAFTA courts superseding U.S. local, state and federal courts, including the Supreme Court. Question three asked, Do you think this would be a threat to U.S. sovereignty? 91% of respondents said Yes.

6. Would you support efforts to replace the U.S. dollar with a common North American currency some call the "Amero"? Though denied by the Bush Administration, there has been much discussion about the creation of a North American currency that would mimic the Euro. In an October, 2007 appearance on the Larry King Show on CNN, former Mexican President Fox answered in the affirmative when King asked about the creation of a united currency. 92% of respondents said they would Not support such a common North American currency.

8. Should the Bush Administration be allowed to move forward with its plans to create a "North American Community" without Congressional approval? Again, the American people have shown they understand that it is Congress which should decide such policy as this. They responded with a resounding 97% No to this question.

9. Do you believe the United States should be "harmonized" or merged into a union with Mexico and Canada? The words most often used by the Administration concerning the SPP are "harmonize" and "integrate". The U.S. is a representative Republic; Mexico is a socialist government; and Canada is part of the British Crown. There are no grounds for "harmonization" unless drastic changes are made to the U.S. judicial and financial systems. 88% said No to harmonization with Mexico and Canada.

10. Respondents were asked to provide comments and thoughts on the SPP. The word most often used was "treason". Another said, "I want no part of the social health care of Canada and I do not want to incorporate Mexico's turmoil and poverty into our United States.". Many others said, "I want secure borders, not easy traffic between the U.S., Canada and Mexico. And another bluntly said, "Bush's actions formulate a horrifying destruction of our proud nation". Many others used even stronger language. Once Americans learn about the SPP, they are clearly opposed.

In the face of this overwhelming opposition, on April 21-22, in yet another closed door meeting in New Orleans, President Bush and heads of state from Mexico and Canada continued to deny the SPP is anything more than a "dialogue" among the three nations.

This month, President Bush will host the leaders of Canada and Mexico to advance the Security and Prosperity Partnership (SPP), a project Lou Dobbs has predicted will "end the United States as we know it." Lou sounds downright blasé, though, compared to all the online ranting and raving on this subject. The video "North American Union and Vchip Truth" cranks things up another notch. Viewed more than 4.8 million times, it presents the SPP as a big step towards a single world government, with David Rockefeller preventing any resistance by implanting us all with Vchips. We can only hope this is satire, but the 10,000 comments by Youtubers suggest that many viewers aren't getting the joke. All this would be simply entertaining if it weren't for the fact that the SPP truly is a dangerous initiative -- but not for the reasons cited by the xenophobes.

Could the US dollar be destined to join the D-Mark and the franc in the graveyard of defunct national currencies? Vicente Fox, former Mexican president, told CNN this week that he had talked to US president George W. Bush about the possibility of a regional currency for the Americas. [...] Dana Perino, White House press secretary, has dismissed Fox’s claim.

“There is no plan under way to create such a currency,” she said.

Ideas for an American currency union, including the US, Canada and Mexico, have been circulating among academics since the creation of the euro in 1999. Its advocates have even given the hypothetical currency a name: the amero.

Now would be a convenient time for the merger to take place, after the Canadian dollar recently reached parity with the US dollar for the first time in 30 years. (Perhaps instead of the amero, it could be called the noonie – a North American version of the Canadian dollar, which is known affectionately as the loonie.)

Proposals that threaten the U.S.A.

I receive mailings from a wide variety of political thought from ACLU through the conservative Middle American News and beyond. Many have expressed alarm about the affect on our country of the above proposals. [...] One of these "working Groups" is the Council of Foreign Relations, which issued a 59-page document in 2005 advocating a "North American Union" with open borders so that people and goods could "flow freely" between the three countries. This CFR document also demanded that the United States implement Bush's Social Security "Totalization Agreement" between the U.S. and Mexico. "Totalization" would make all illegal immigrants and their families immediately eligible for Social Security benefits, a disaster for the Social Security Trust Fund.

To implement the North American Union, the CFR recommended the building of the "NAFTA Superhighway," an eight-lane highway through the middle of our country from the Mexican border into Canada. There would be no border inspections in order to facilitate the free flow of goods and labor between the three countries. Later on, the U.S. dollar would be replaced by the "Amero", modeled on the European Union's "Euro."

According to what I have been reading, these are the plans un-elected bureaucrats in the highest levels of our government, encouraged by our president, have in store for us.

Mexico trucks to roll on U.S. highways
WASHINGTON (Reuters) - The Bush administration can proceed with a plan to open the U.S. border to long haul Mexican trucks as early as next week after an appeals court rejected a bid by labor, consumer and environmental interests to block the initiative. [...] The 1994 North American Free Trade Agreement approved broader access for ground shipments from both countries but the Clinton administration never complied with the trucking provision. A special tribunal ordered the Bush administration to do so in 2001. "This is the wrong decision for working men and women," Jim Hoffa, president of the Teamsters, said in a statement after the court ruling. "We believe this program clearly breaks the law." The Teamsters represents truckers that would be affected by the change. The emergency stay was sought on grounds the administration's pilot program had not satisfied the U.S. Congress' requirements on safety and other issues. But the appeals court ruled otherwise.

The John Birch Society staked out some turf in downtown Seattle last Saturday, holding flags and carrying signs. The signs read, "Preserve the Traditional Farm," "Stop Benefits to Illegal Aliens," "Keep America Sovereign" — and a curious one, a slash through the initials "NAU."

[...] The U.S. government has a Web site, www.spp.gov, in which it says that "in no way, shape or form" does it plan "the creation of a European Union-like structure" in North America. That appears to be so — but denials don't matter to a certain type of mind, which assumes that appearances are false and truth is concealed.

So they overreach. They warn of such fantasies as the replacement of the U.S. dollar by a new currency called the amero. No politician proposes this. A professor of economics at Simon Fraser University in Vancouver published "The Case for the Amero" in 1999. But it was one book, and the Canadian dollar was below 70 cents at the time. The loonie has since revived, and the Canadians are not about to discard it.

Sovereignty, for the moment, is safe.

As a line in the above National Ledger article reads, “Our currency will be replaced with the “Amero.” And, we’ll be one giant step closer to the U.N.’s perverse dream of a one-world government.” Whether or not there is any truth that some individuals or groups would like to economically or politically unify Canada, Mexico, and the United States, the peripheral alarm regarding the replacement of the Dollar with a currency named the “Amero” is worth exploring. The first thing that jumps out at me is the expression, “Our currency….” That is an interesting choice of words. This phrase implies that the currency of the Federal Reserve System is ours, yet, somehow the Amero currency of the North American Union would not be ours and therefore be objectionable. The second thing that jumps out at me is the expression, “…will be replaced…;” My choice of words would have been, “has been replaced.” Let’s hypothesize that Federal Reserve System currency is already not ours. Let’s hypothesize that our currency has long since been replaced. Here is how it was done. THIS WAS OUR CURRENCY. Figure 1 is a picture of what certainly used to be our currency, our current coin, before it was switched with Federal Reserve debt. Below is ONE DOLLAR of silver.

The boom and bust cycle is a manufactured phenomenon, and it is extreemly profitable, almost as profitable as war. We the people don't really need to have a bank make the money and loan it to us, we could do that our selves and cut out the middle man. This is one of the reasons to have a government, to print money. We used to print our own money. But rich guys start to get worried about the new up and comers and they set to work to get a piece of the cash. They tried quite a few times to install a central bank but didn't actually succeed until 1933 when a very short staffed congress voted for the creation of the Federal Reserve.
What the Federal Reserve does with that power is thus. They stand at the spigot and divvy out as much money as they possibly can. They encourage bad lending and print more money than would actually be needed to operate a stable economy. Spurred on by this gratuitous supply of money, the trickle down effect quickly has the country spending more and saving less. Reassurance of a bright future are always given despite any evidence to the contrary. This continues until the very last second when every one has stretched their debt as far as they can go, and they close the spigot. Suddenly there isn't enough money to go around and people start panicking because they have gotten them selves in over there head with debt and can't loan more to cover it. They are forced to sell their property to try and cover their loss. But if everybody is trying to sell then the price is driven down by desperation. If they can not sell the bank repo's the house and you lose everything. This is called foreclosure. If the bank goes into foreclose then the bigger bank from which it got it's loans would repo it. This would continue up the chain until you find the Federal Reserve. Except the Federal Reserve didn't get the money on loan, they printed it. In short, if everyone foreclosed tomorrow, then the Federal Reserve would get everything and would have paid nothing for it.
Foreclosure isn't the only benefit a crash provides for the richest 1%. People who just lost their house are desperate for work and will work for less. This drives wages down. Low cost wages attract business. This is the china model. China makes everything because they have the cheapest wages. This is the driving force for out-sourcing. A big economic crash would drive wages down and bring back some of that business. And in fact that is the plan. It has always been the plan. 1929, 1987, and even 2001 were all orchestrated financial crisis for the benefit of big business. The technology stock bubble burst in 2001 and would have been a lot worse if hadn't happened on 9-11. Most of the computers holding stock market data were lost in the rubble. I am sure you remember how business slumped and prices increased that year. Rich people made a lot of money and they will again. This time, however, there is a bigger motive than just making money and that is Control. This next crash, which will most likely be the biggest, will see the crumbling of the dollar into dust. This will set the stage for the North American Union.
The North American Union is the dissolving boarders between Canada, Mexico and the U.S in to one big country. This is similar to the European Union. We will have our own currency and it is call the Amero. I have heard that it has been printed already. NAFTA, CAFTA and the FTAA are all agreements designed to work this plan into action.
So what should you do?
Educate your self. READ. READ. READ. Come to a conclusion and act on it. Here are some other suggestions. Get out of the Market, Get out of Debt, Get a Gun, Get a fuel efficient car, better yet ride a Bike. If you have money, turn it into something that can't depreciate like gold and barrels of rice and water.
Last... Vote for Ron Paul. He is the only candidate telling the truth and he is the only candidate who is Anti-War.

September 2006, some of North America's powerful political, business and military leaders secretly congregated at Banff hotel in Alberta for three days to hammer out the details on how to create a North American superstate [1].
