Saudi Alaska gives you $50 Crude Oil in 2009?

Lindsey Williams, who has been an ordained Baptist minister for 28 years, went to Alaska in 1971 as a missionary [...] to serve as Chaplain on the pipeline, with the subsequent full support of the Alyeska Pipeline Company.

Because of the executive status accorded to him as Chaplain, he was given access to the information that is documented in his book, "The Energy Non-Crisis," which shows that peak oil is a scam because our domestic reserves in the North Slope of Alaska alone are at least as large as those in Saudi Arabia and are potentially large enough to power the US with domestic oil for two centuries. {...} As you know, the Illuminati are arrogant enough to reveal some of their plans because they believe there is nothing we can do about it.

Basically, Mr. Williams was told that over the next twelve months, from mid-2008 to mid-2009, (1) news of super giant oil fields, ready to produce, would be announced for two locations, in the Northern Slopes of Russia and in Indonesia, which oil fields would together contain more oil reserves than the entire Middle East; (2) that this news would drive oil prices down to $50/barrel; (3) that OPEC countries, especially in the Middle East, would be bankrupted by this price decrease; (4) that this would cause the financing of our foreign trade and current account deficits through purchases of treasury paper by foreign nations with their surplus oil profits to collapse, leading to the collapse of the dollar; (5) that the collapse of the dollar would cause unprecedented financial strife and turmoil in the US, and that it would take many years for the US to recover from this financial debacle; (6) that they (big oil) support John McCain for President; and (7) that US domestic oil reserves would never be tapped, and that any legislation which might allow domestic reserves to be tapped would not be allowed to pass, leaving the US dependent on foreign oil forever.

News of the Russian oil field has been announced just as predicted, but whether the rest happens as stated above remains to be seen. Nevertheless, many of these revelations seem quite feasible, so we thought we would comment on how these revelations might play out under the current financial scenario.

Certainly, if the world's oil reserves, ready to produce, are increased by an amount equal to the total oil reserves of the Middle East, oil could easily be brought down to $50 per barrel. It would almost be like starting all over again from an oil reserve perspective.

This would destroy the economies of countries that are currently giving us trouble, such as Iran and Venezuela, allowing us to defeat them without ever firing another shot. Russia would get less per barrel, but would be selling an awful lot of oil out of their vastly increased reserves, so they would be weakened, but not bankrupted. Nations in the Middle East, whose reserves are rapidly dwindling, would all be destroyed from an economic perspective at first, but the ensuing civil unrest would also eventually topple all Middle East OPEC regimes, allowing the US to move in and take over control of their governments and their remaining oil reserves. [...] What we envision happening under the scenario revealed to Mr. Williams would certainly start with the stated...

reduction in oil prices well ahead of elections.

This would produce great joy and relief for the sheople and ignite a huge, worldwide stock market rally just prior to elections, making George Bush and congressional incumbents look a lot better and lending support to John McCain, the stated preferred presidential candidate of big oil.

Much lower oil prices would support the dollar and suppress precious metals by reducing inflation by the amount attributable to recent oil price increases, but only at first.

Meatheads on the Amero--The 4th Central Bank

Nowadays, even meatheads at T-Nation, the net's premier site for bodybuilding and strength information (and ultimate Biotest marketing machine:) are discussing the up-coming North American currency--excerpts from this Top 10 Forum Post:

"The American Central bank will disappear in the next decade or two."
-Jim Rogers, Mandarin-speaking international investor & Quantum Fund co-founder

The fed will disappear but it will be replaced with the North American Central Bank as a representative for the Amero. [...] It matters little what the currency is called. The fact is many if not most North and South American countries have a currency tied to the dollar already. Renaming and combining them will only have a solidifying effect that will make world government more possible. Economies cannot really be unified any more than they are insofar as everyone is already dependent on everyone else.

Trade is trade and it doesn't matter what mediums are used to facilitate it. Competition is still a preferred state, however, there is little point in having a unified currency that can be competed against. Maybe a North American Central Bank wouldn't be so be holden to US government pressure to print and spend money. Then again, if it was there would be the same problems of inflation. Ultimately, I believe a new currency will not change anything fundamental about the operation of government and the destruction of society.

USAN: The South American Version?

Brazil's Fuehrer Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva recently stated that there's major sovereignty-eroding change forming in South America as well. Slowly, tho. The true masters with all that fake money and quasi-absolute power "are planning for a common currency as part of the integration of the individual countries into the Union of the South American Nations." (NaturalNews) The same kind of bullshit "union" most European countries signed-up to. The same kind of bullshit "union" North American people will be offered as solution to whoknowswhat!

South American elitist puppets pose for the official photo of the Union of South American Nations Summit, Unasur, in Brasilia, Friday, May 23, 2008. A new South American union was born Friday as leaders of the region's 12 nations set out to create a continental parliament.

New Video: "Meet the Federal Fockers" (2008)

A new video featuring Ben Bernanke, Federal Reserve Chairman, and Jerry Nelson, Corporate Communications for the Federal Reserve with Gary Franchi, Managing Editor of Republic Magazine. Bernanke is questioned about the Amero and Nelson reveals some little known facts about the FED. Is it really a private bank? Is the Amero on the horizon? What were US Notes printed by John F. Kennedy? Is our money toxic? What happened to the gold in the Treasury? These questions and more are answered in this expose' about the Federal Reserve System, from the mouth of the Federal Reserve. Gold Good ol' days:

Yo quiero pesos!

We now know without doubt that Bush wants us to submerge our sovereignty with Canada and Mexico and that the resulting political, economic and monetary union will require some significant re-alignment in the values of the three currencies currently in existence. Now, no three separate countries have identical economies, so 'harmonization' (nice sounding word for something very unpleasant)in the values of the US and Canadian dollar with the Mexican Peso is something we WILL see starting to occur if we ARE heading down the road to such a full-blown marriage.

How do we know this? From the recent experience of our friends in Europe, of course! The same forces are in the driving seat there as well as here. The bulk of European countries since 2001 have adopted the Euro, which is a complex composite of the various former currencies of those participating countries. In order for them all to be assimilated into one unitary currency, Europe had to go through a lengthy period of economic convergence - as we shall have to here, too, for the plan to work across north America.

It'll be a simpler matter here, though. Only 3 economies to converge rather than over 20 as was the case of Europe. It can be achieved very much more quickly. It is Mexico's Peso that is the main problem for Bush & Co.

"Don't short the greenback"

Why Shorting the Dollar Now Could Be a Big Mistake: The world is short the dollar right now. But that could be a big mistake…
The outlook for the ailing greenback – finally – is getting healthier, which makes it the perfect time to go long.

I know this is a wildly unpopular and completely contrarian stance, so let’s get right to it. Here are the 10 reasons I think the dollar’s headed for an inevitable reversal:

1. If Not the Dollar… Then What?

2. The Fed: From Enemy to Ally

3. What Goes Down Eventually Goes Back Up

4. Warren Buffett, Jim Rogers and Bill Gross CAN Be Wrong

5. Pop-Culture Even Hates It

6. The Most Unlikely & Unsophisticated Are Speculating

7. Psst! Did You Hear About the Amero?
Another contrarian sign we’re at an extreme bottom – talk of the Amero or Americo is popping up again. First floated by Dr. Herbert G. Grubel of the Fraser Institute in 1999, this is largely a conspiracy theory that the governments of Canada, the U.S. and Mexico are secretly planning to launch a unified currency to compete with the euro. This is such a bad idea on so many levels I can’t get into them all here. Just trust me, the world’s largest economy is not going to relinquish macroeconomic control by opting for a unified currency.

8. A REALLY Weak Dollar Helps No One

9. We’re Not Decoupled Yet

10. Stocks Love A Strong Dollar

Amero taking down middle class

I'm asking The Bee to address the issue of the "Amero" and its part in the rapid devaluation of the U.S. dollar and in delaying response to securing the border. The "Amero" would be developed through the creation of the North American Union, which currently goes under the name
"The Security and Prosperity Partnership" consisting of Canada, Mexico and the United States. This idea was supposedly launched in March 2005.
The Mexican and Canadian economies rely, primarily, on the United States for trade and economic stability. They are, according to the U.S. Energy Information Administration, our top suppliers of oil. How will union with two nations, one morally bankrupt and each possessing poorly performing currencies, advance the United States? It probably won't.
Observers predict that this "union," or "partnership," will not only dissolve U.S. sovereignty but destroy our domestic shipping industries, redistribute our middle-class wealth and eliminate what we now consider border security. Will America be the next European Union?
MARTHA G. ACEVEDO

Editor's note: No government agency or official has recommended forming a North American Union, a common currency or giving up any sovereignty to any other government or agency.

Questions And Answers
Author: Jim Sinclair

Question:
With regard to the connecting of the gold market dots article, is the UDSX .5200 the ratio of the dollar to the euro?

Answer:
No, .5200 is a price objective referring to the US Dollar Index.

Question:
Would you comment on the possibility of a new North American currency that may someday become a reality and what it would do to the gold market as well as the US Dollar?

Answer:
That will not happen. Hypothetically if a new North American currency was created the dollar would no longer exist and gold in terms of the dollar would have risen to infinity.

Mrs. President sez:

[Bilderberger-Darling] Sen. Hillary Clinton addressed a town hall meeting there and was taking questions from the audience. One elderly woman rose and was asking the Democratic candidate about a rumored economic union among the United States, Canada and Mexico that is widely discussed, feared and abhorred among conspiracy fanciers. The woman said the president planned to implement the secret agreement in 2010. Then the woman called the president "Bush the bastard." The Democratic crowd immediately roared its approval. Sen. Clinton nodded her head slightly and smiled. Then, she proceeded to answer the question, [crying] saying "there's not a lot of truth to it."

We the serfs

To Prime Minister Stephen Harper, cc. Stéphane Dion, Jack Layton, Gilles Duceppe.
We, the people of Canada, demand that you fully disclose the details of the Security and Prosperity Partnership Agreement and all other secret agreements and ratifications relative to any proposed integration of trade, security and armed forces with the United States and immediately place a moratorium on any further development of such plans and abrogate any agreements made to date pending a decision by a nationwide Referendum on these issues.

The Security and Prosperity Partnership (SPP) of North America was initiated on March 31, 2005 by the leaders of Canada, the United States and Mexico to combine free trade as a hostage to security cooperation but cannot be allowed to go forward unless ratified by all the citizens of Canada in a free vote..
In particular, we demand that our national security policies be defined by Canadians on behalf of and for the benefit of Canadians. Our security would be better served if we disassociate ourselves from the U.S. "war on terror".

The End of the EA$Y credit era

"Everything that could go wrong did. What started with subprime mortgages spread to all collateralized debt obligations, endangered municipal and mortgage insurance and reinsurance companies and threatened to unravel the multi-trillion-dollar credit default swap market. Investment banks' commitments to leveraged buyouts became liabilities.”

George [Soros] continues, "If federal funds were lowered beyond a certain point, …..the ability of the Fed to stimulate the economy comes to an end." Where is that point? George Soros didn't want to say, but he probably feels it is getting very close and the reason why he wrote this article. Maybe at or slightly below 3%?

For believers of the theory that low interest rates can save us, just look at Japan for the last 10-15 years; zero or even negative interest rates have not helped much to stimulate the economy after the burst of both stock and real estate bubbles. George’s most interesting statement is: "the current crisis marks the end of an era of credit expansion based on the dollar as the international reserve currency."

What he didn't say is, if US dollar loses its reserve status, there is no obvious replacement currency, at least not at this moment. What happens then? One possible, likely and logical solution could be that countries around the world would consider gold as their reserves again.

Does George Soros imply that we are returning to gold standard?

Different Amero viewpoints

Because life's a funny game

"Since the Internet began, there has been web page after web page of conspiracy theories. The old conspiracies like 'Who shot JFK?' have given way to newer and bigger questions, 'Did the government have a hand in 9/11... how did the AIDS virus get started....and wild accusations about something called a "chemtrail". Especially today, with web sites like YouTube, those 'New World Order' theories are really getting popular. According to most of these, your children may be using Amero's as currency and not US Dollars! Amuse yourself by participating in a hunt for the best Conspiracy Theory on the Internet and get some great laughs out of it."

It's the Loonie stupid neo-cons want to tame

"In the wake of the loonie's rise above parity against the U.S. dollar, there has been a revival of the debate around the idea of a common currency between Canada and the United States. In one corner stand people like David Laidler who argue that it is a bad idea; the loonie should continue to float against the greenback. In the other corner, we have the likes of Herbert Grubel, Thomas Courchene and Pierre Fortin who clamour for some form of monetary integration between Canada and the United States."

Greenback: the new carry-trade currency

"In addition to the existence of ameros available for purchase, there are groups advocating the abolition of national currencies in favor of a single global currency, including the Web site singleglobalcurrency.org.
Some are legitimate sources of intelligent discussion about the relative merits of a single currency system, and some are less-than-credible rants on global conspiracy theories and propagation of urban myths.
But that doesn't seem to matter to those convinced that the introduction of the amero is right around the corner.
Now maybe it is easier to deal with tough economic times by ignoring the day-to-day realities of credit issues and slow job creation in favor of more sinister theories of where the economy is heading.
But if conspiracy theories are your cup of tea, perhaps it might be more productive to consider some more mainstream plots, such as the truth behind the Kennedy assassination or whether or not NASA faked the moon landings or perhaps the greatest conspiracy ever, the 1969 New York Mets.
But if fears of a growing movement toward creation of a global currency is keeping you awake at night, rest easy. There already is a global currency. And it is called the U.S. dollar.
Despite its recent decline against the euro, the U.S. dollar is still the major international reserve currency and is more than likely to rebound in the coming months and reestablish its global primacy."

All this Union, One, Global talk is sadly no conspiracy "theory"

"According to this economic legend, dark forces are at work as we speak to create and implement the "amero," a North American variant of the euro, to replace the American, Canadian and Mexican national currencies. And with the creation of that North American Union, so the conspiracy theory holds, goes economic freedom, Yankee ingenuity and probably apple pie."

So read this and realize: This ain't a theory this is tyranny!

"Many have now heard rumblings of the “amero”, a proposed North American currency to replace the Canadian loonie, dollar and peso. However, most of the mentions of this concept, when discussed in the mainstream media tend to focus on suggesting that talk of an “amero”, and in effect, the accompanying North American Union, is nothing but a conspiracy theory created by deluded xenophobes afraid of immigration and globalization. The Boston Globe recently wrote such a story, titled, “The Amero Conspiracy”, which stated, “The SPP [Security and Prosperity Partnership] does exist, and its tri-national task forces continue to meet, but its members consider it a way for the United States, Canada, and Mexico to collaborate on issues such as customs, environmental and safety regulations, narcotics smuggling, and terrorism. The amero, on the other hand, appears to be purely theoretical.” However, despite being conveyed as “purely theoretical”, a recent article in the national Canadian newspaper, the Financial Post, referred to the amero, not as a theoretical idea or conspiracy theory, but as a potential reality. The article entitled, Fix the Loonie, lays out the process to be undertaken before the adoption of a continental currency known as the Amero."

The NAU - Part 2: The Amero

"What is not to say that, if and when this global crash occurs, the governments of Mexico, Canada, and the US will come up with a plan to ‘save us’ from harsh poverty, unemployment, and hunger by creating a new, more ‘powerful’ dollar, backed by the American, Mexican, and Canadian economies, called the Amero in order to ‘compete’ with the powerful Euro in the merging ‘world market?’

Remember I am only connecting dots here. I am not implying that this will happen. I hope that I am wrong, but when you put pieces of the puzzle together and begin to see the picture you have to ask yourself, 'Is this really going to happen?' Remember, I call things the way I see it.

Then how desperate will we become when the economic crash occurs? Our generation knows nothing about harsh poverty like our great grandfathers did in 1929. We are spoiled in our capitalist riches and take for granted all of the good things we own made cheaply in repressive foreign countries. What is not to say that we will demand the Amero when a loaf of bread will cost 20 US dollars, but cost 2 Ameros? After all, NAFTA was the first step in this North American Union plan. If the US falls economically so will Mexico, and Canada."

Follow Warren Buffett, Jim Rogers ... and Gisele Bundchen

Gisele Bundchen wants to remain the world's richest model and is insisting that she be paid in almost any currency but the U.S. dollar.

Like billionaire investors Warren Buffett and Bill Gross, the Brazilian supermodel, who Forbes magazine says earns more than anyone in her industry, is at the top of a growing list of rich people who have concluded that the currency can only depreciate because Americans led by President George W. Bush are living beyond their means. [...] Analysts in a Bloomberg survey expect the dollar to strengthen in coming months as stronger-than-forecast reports suggest U.S. consumers will keep the economy out of recession. Payrolls grew by 166,000 in October, double the median forecast of economists in a Bloomberg survey.

The dollar will rise to $1.43 per euro this year and $1.35 by the end of 2008, according to the median estimate in the survey.

"So far the data has shown the U.S. economy may not be slowing to the extent the majority of the market had expected,'' said Omer Esiner, an analyst at currency-trading company Ruesch International Inc. in Washington who expects the U.S. currency to strengthen to as much as $1.38 per euro. "That could temper policy easing down the road and lend support for the dollar.''

Buffett, whom Forbes in April ranked as the world's third- richest person behind Bill Gates and Carlos Slim, told reporters in South Korea last month that he is bearish on the U.S. currency. "We still are negative on the dollar relative to most major currencies, so we bought stocks in companies that earn their money in other currencies,'' Buffett said Oct. 25. Buffett, 77, is chairman of Omaha, Nebraska-based Berkshire Hathaway Inc.

Jim Rogers, a former partner of investor George Soros, said last month he's selling his house and all his possessions in the U.S. currency to buy China's yuan.

"The dollar is collapsing,'' Rogers said last week in an interview. "I'm moving to Asia because moving to Asia now is like moving to New York in 1907 or London in 1807. It's the wave of the future.

Beware of foreign entanglements

There are those who want to shift this country into socialism and other systems of controls our forefathers rejected. The “globalist” mentality is embraced at the expense of our sovereignty. It’s being implemented without fanfare through government and has penetrated our education and media systems.

We’ve heard about an “amero” type currency for the Western Hemisphere, recently confirmed by former Mexican President Vicente Fox on CNN’s “Larry King Live.” The White House denies such a thing, but BankIntroductions.com, a Canadian company specializing in global banking strategies, has a prediction. It told WorldNetDaily.com that the amero may be the currency of North America within 10 years. Yet, we’re left in the dark.

I don’t know all the repercussions, but the chill in my spine indicates revised banking systems will threaten America’s sovereignty. Those who watch this trend often quote our first president, George Washington: “Beware of foreign entanglements.”

Gold: Menace II fiat society

Gold’s catalyst on Friday was an impending sense of doom in US financial markets. “Forget what the Federal Reserve says about being neutral on policy and the news that the labour market grew at double the rate expected by economists in October,” writes Michael Mackenzie in the Financial Times. “What matters is the unwinding of the great credit trade. This is ensnaring more and more financial institutions and threatens to make life very difficult for policymakers as the risk of a dollar crisis looms.”

It seems to us the dollar’s been in crisis for about five years now. But maybe it’s become more acute lately. New lows on the greenback could equal US$1,000 gold. And it could happen faster than you can say “jingle bells”.

Know the deal!?

Despite the dearth of definitive data on this deal, its dishonesty is demonstrable. To take one further example from the spp.gov website:

“Myth: The SPP is a movement to merge the United States, Mexico, and Canada into a North American Union and establish a common currency.

Fact: The cooperative efforts under the SPP, …seek to make the United States, Canada and Mexico open to legitimate trade and closed to terrorism and crime. It does not change our courts or legislative processes and respects the sovereignty of the United States, Mexico, and Canada. The SPP in no way, shape or form considers the creation of a European Union-like structure or a common currency. The SPP does not attempt to modify our sovereignty or currency or change the American system of government designed by our Founding Fathers.”

While you ponder the veracity of this claim -- and debate which is “myth” and which is “fact” -- I’d like to introduce you to Robert Pastor Ph.D., vice president of international affairs, professor of international relations, and director of the Center for North American Studies, American University in Washington, D.C.

At the beginning of November 2002, this highly credentialized individual gave a speech in Toronto entitled “A North American Community -- A Modest Proposal to the Trilateral Commission”. It is perhaps the clearest exposition of the SPP and its objectives.

Pastor argues, among other things, that NAFTA should be raised to a new level of cooperation. On this new level, the existing “two bilateral legislative groups” (Parliament and Congress) would be merged into one North American Parliamentary Group. There’d also be a Permanent Court on Trade and Investment -- though he doesn’t say how such a court would stop traditional U.S. contempt for Canadian economic interests (softwood lumber, anyone?) -- as well as a North American Commission to deal with immigration and customs, and propose measures like a continental infrastructure and transportation network, harmonized (sic) regulatory policies, a customs union, and a common currency.

On the latter point he said: “Mexicans and Canadians do not want to be incorporated into the United States, and they are ambivalent about adopting the American dollar, but they are more willing to become part of a single country of North America and of a unified currency, like the ‘amero,’ proposed by Herbert Grubel.” Grubel, of course, is a former MP and now a senior econo-theologian at the Fraser Institute, the British Columbia-based neocon propaganda factory that has more influence on national policy than do elected MPs. He made his proposal in 1999!

If you have considered spp.com’s “myth” vs. “fact” distinction while you read the discussion on Pastor, consider again this “fact” claim: “The SPP in no way, shape or form considers the creation of … a common currency. The SPP does not attempt to modify our sovereignty or currency or change the American system of government designed by our Founding Fathers.”

Significantly when Pastor speaks of the amero, he assumes that Canada and Mexico would convert their currencies to the U.S. dollar, thereby surrendering the right to set national monetary or economic policy.

One would think that in the time since the amero was formally suggested (1999) and SPP discussions were begun (2005) we, the Canadian public, would have been informed about them. Problem is, we aren’t supposed to know about it until it’s a done deal. Who will be doing this deal? Consider Pastor’s final charge to his audience:

“The challenge of the Trilateral Commission – (is) to sketch an alternative future for the entire continent that the people will embrace and the politicians will feel obligated to accept.”

There you have it. A clique of econo-political elites is going to remake North America in its own image and the citizenry of the three countries has no say in the matter! How much does Pastor’s Brave New Economic Order reflect actual discussions on the SPP? I’m sure inquiring citizens would like to know.

The Late Great American Melting Pot

A lot of the time I wish my government, the American government, would just wake up out of its funk and start doing the right thing for its citizens. Everyday I hear about some scandal involving a government official, mud-slinging among presidential candidates, illegal immigrants standing up for their “rights” (excuse me?) and their supporters doing the same.

It’s a downward spiral we’re in. And the sad thing is, apparently there are few leaders willing to do anything about it. Oh sure, they claim they’re doing what’s right for America, but honestly, how is giving amnesty to illegal immigrants going to help Americans? They don’t call it that, of course, but they sugarcoat it and hope people won’t notice what they’re swallowing. [...] Having a unified currency among several countries has more disadvantages than advantages. It means that the member countries can’t solve their economic problems by adjusting their money supply or stimulate its growth. Instead, they must go with the flow, do what the other members are doing even when it’s not really helping.

I have nothing against our neighboring countries, but they should know this can adversely affect them as well because it will dilute their individuality the same as it would for America. America’s identity, its sovereignty, its cultural heritage and pride would simply fade away. So, too, will Canada and Mexico.

Gone are the days of us being known as the Great American Melting Pot. Instead, we are fast becoming a nation of “mini-nations”, each seeking their own agenda at the detriment of the greater good.

Step by step...

Former Mexican President Vicente Fox confirmed the existence of a plan conceived with President Bush to create a new regional currency in the Americas, in an interview last night on CNN's "Larry King Live." (TRANSCRIPT)

ALCA is the acronym for the Area de Libre Comercio de las Américas, the name of the FTAA in Spanish.
King, evidently startled by Fox's revelation of the currency, asked pointedly, "It's going to be like the euro dollar (sic), you mean?" "Well, that would be long, long term," Fox repeated.

White House dismisses talks of common currency

The White House this morning categorically denied that President Bush is considering or has ever considered agreeing to a common currency for the U.S., Mexico and Canada to rival the Euro.

"I can assure you that President Bush is not, and has not, given consideration to any other currency for the United States. Period," said White House spokesman Tony Fratto in an e-mail.
